Jodie offers individual sessions to clients from birth to teens, supporting their prescribed developmental, learning, NDIS & Allied Health goals.

By creating a space that is centred on the client rather than therapy, therapeutic goals are transformed into fun creative activities, built specifically around their unique interests and abilities.

Prescribed goals for fine & gross motor skills, independence skills, speech & language, social skills & emotional regulation are supported without the client realising it!

“One on One is a service I highly recommend. Jodie is phenomenal in her approach with children and teenagers, her passion and dedication to her work and her clients shines through. Jodie has years of knowledge and life experience that is the backbone to her work, and she shows how the benefits of music and interest focus in a support space is paramount. As a psychologist working with children, I see how Jodie's energy, love, compassion, passion for music and her work, and her understanding creates such a wonderful environment and experience for children.

“We are so happy with how the One on One sessions are going. Not only is Chloe's confidence in performing improving but her breath control and volume when speaking is so much better. She is also loving the introduction of playing the keyboard! Chloe's speech pathologist and occupational therapist have praised Jodie's work, helping her reach her therapy goals.

Jodie's Story

Jodie has been familiar with surgeries, treatments and therapies in her own life since birth, giving her valuable insight into the therapy experience from a child's perspective & the frustration it can bring.
When Jodie’s own children required multiple early intervention therapies, she was confronted with therapy refusal - tears & meltdowns began to surface for her children. Frustration as a mother led her to find another way to deliver the prescribed therapies.
She began utilising her skills as a music, dance, drama & classroom teacher, creating therapy-infused fun activities, built around her children’s favorite music, characters, games, make believe & instruments. Jodie holds a Graduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Dance. This cumulated into Jodie becoming an Developmental & Music Specialist.
The Allied Health Professionals affirmed her playful techniques, stating that she got some results they couldn’t! With their support Jodie now incorporates this service into her business Playful Music, & is keen to work with you and your family.
